General Environmental Awareness

Practice environmental awareness both on and off the job. At one time or another we handle materials at home which could cause environmental damage and personal injury, if not properly handled or disposed of. Adherence to environmental regulations (e.g. Air and Water Permits) is costly but not nearly as costly as violations, exceedance, and clean-up activities, which can cost millions of dollars. Being aware of potential environmental hazards is the first step in minimizing if not eliminating the potential for negative environmental impacts.
