Welding involves joining two or more pieces of metal together to form a single piece. Unlike welding processes which join two pieces of metal, cutting processes involve separating or severing a piece of metal through intense heat generated to melt the metal.
Many hazards are associated with welding and cutting safety , but as in any other operations they can be controlled by appropriate preventive measures. Unless these measures are taken, the hazardous situations can easily give rise to personnel injury and/or material damage.
At the end of this course, you will have 2 attempts to achieve an 80% or above on the final exam to receive your Certificate of Achievement! Enjoy the course, and please fill out the survey at the end!
