BobTail Kamyonu

Bob-tail trucks have a much tighter turning radius than tractor trailers. Make sure to give yourself plenty of room when turning. Bob-tail trucks can easily be turned too tightly causing damage to the truck or other equipment in the area. It is important to make wide turns.

Precautions:

• Always check for overhead clearance and obstacles which may interfere with the hoists operation.
• Never operate equipment that is damaged.
• Always double check the cable to make sure there are no broken wires or frays in the cable.
• The PTO should always be in the off position while driving. *1
• Always wear your gloves when outside the truck.
• Only operate equipment within it’s rated capacity.

• Respect yourself, others, and company equipment. Use safe working habits and training techniques when operating all equipment.
• During the winter, the ground may remain wet, check areas where you will be dropping pans and/or driving equipment. There is a likelihood that you could get stuck.
