Audiogram

 OSHA requires that employers establish and maintain audiometric testing program, which includes baseline audiograms, annual audiograms, training, and follow-up procedures, for workers exposed to significant occupational noise, even if they are subject to such noise exposures over their entire working lifetimes.

Audiometric testing must be provided within three months of a worker starting work that exposes them to a risk of work related noise-induced hearing loss. Starting the audiometric testing before people are exposed to hazardous noise (such as new starters or those changing jobs) provides a baseline as a reference for future audiometric test results.

Annual Audiogram

Looking for a Standard Threshold Shift (STS) of 10 decibels or more. This would in dicate that the employee has suffered noise induced hearing loss and would be considered a recordable incident on you annual OSHA logs.
