Serious injuries such as cuts, blows, fractures, punctures, lacerations, or amputations. These are immediate injuries.
Contact Injury
Injuries caused by contact with extreme hot or cold (causing burns or frostbite), or by touching substances that can damage the skin, such as chemicals, metals, detergents, or bacteria.
Cumulative Trauma
Injuries that include repetitive motion problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome. These injuries happen over time and can cause swelling, tingling, and/or pain.
