Know Before you Dump

Sunrise Plastic Dumping Approval

• All material must be approved and signed by the building attendant.
• Building attendant will move the barrier to let you inside the building.
• Under no circumstances will material be dumped without advanced approval.

Rules while Dumping

• Dewater the material prior to dumping.
• The attendant operates the scale.
• DO NOT enter the building without approval.
• Only ONE truck driver at a time is allowed in the building.
• The driver dumps the material.
• The attendant will take pictures and sign all paperwork.
• At the driver scale truck light, the attendant operates the scale.
• The driver turns in the paperwork to the scale house.
• The driver will wash out the pan at the washout station.
• The driver shall inspect seals, chains, binders, hinges, report damage

Security will affix a tracking Barcode to all BOL delivered to Sunrise Plastic.

Attendants will take picture(s) of the material.

The Building Attendant will sign a BOL when load is received (dumped).

Precautions before Dumping

Building 14 and 15 have low ceilings. When dumping inside of the building be extremely cautious of low hanging ceilings pipes.

Although located at the same pick-up location inside the supplier’s plant, PE Skim Pond Material and PP Rain Pond Material are two different products and are to be dumped separately. If you have any doubt on where to dump material, dump as far back in the building, down the center.

Dumping Chunks

To avoid chunks/lumps from traveling far distance once dumped it is best practice to set the pan on the ground before dumping. Chunks/lumps can travel far when they are dumped directly from the pan onto the ground when the pan is still on the roll-off truck. To avoid injury or damage to the surrounding area it is recommended to place the pan on the ground.

Dumping a Dewatering Pan

• Cut the pan liner free of the hooks in an open dock at Sunrise Plastic Enterprise, Inc.
• Follow standard dumping procedures.
• If you are in need of help, call for assistance if the liner gets caught in the pan.

Warehouse operation hours:

• Monday thru Friday – 6:30 AM to 4:00PM
• Saturday – 6 AM to 12 PM
• Off Hours – contact your supervisor for approval.
