Recommended Procedure for Emptying a Roll Off Pan

1. Check for overhead clearance and other personnel in the area.
2. Set the parking brakes and engage the PTO.
3. Raise the hoist sufficiently enough to reach the chain ratchets without having to overextend.
4. Release the rear tailgate chains first. Followed by the passenger side chains, lastly followed by the driver’s side chains.
5. Lower the hoist.
6. Double check the area for pedestrians and other obstacles. Release the safety chain and open the door. Secure the safety chain to the passenger side of the pan.
