Congratulations, you’re almost done with the course!  However, let’s take a few minutes to reflect on the course content before you take the final exam. You will only get 2 chances to pass the final with a score of 80% or higher.

If you aren’t confident in your knowledge of one of the following subjects, go back to the relevant lesson in the course to give it a review.

  • Lack of motivation often centers around attitudinal problems.
  • To ensure the success of any new safety program or process, securing management commitment and buy-in at the front-line worker level is critical.
  • Safety Observations are meant to keep all employees in the workplace safe
  • After completing the safety observations, feedback should cover positive and at-risk behaviors, as well as discuss the potential impact of risky behavior.
  • If your company does not have a behavioral based safety program in place, statistics say they will have more incidents.
  • A BBS program is a program that creates a safety partnership between management and employees that continually focuses people’s attentions and actions on theirs, and others, daily safety behavior.
  • Personalities play a big role in behavioral based safety programs.
  • Respect, trust, ability to learn, develop and grow, being art of the decision-making process, and consistent leadership with clear direction are all motivators.
