The duties of the Entry Supervisor begin long before the plane is broken. They need to comprehend all of the risks in the space, including the signs of trouble, and the symptoms and consequences of them. They must also understand the necessary Hazard Controls. In addition, they will need to be able to read the entry permit and ensure that the conditions are acceptable for entry. It's imperative that the supervisor also understands:
