Blood Born Pathogens are infectious microorganism in human blood that can cause disease including hepatitis and HIV.   Its not only blood that can transmit these dangerous contagions – body fluid of all types, including saliva, can result in transition of illness.   This information is useful to workers who interact with human fluids, of various types such as hospitals…  but why is it relevant to manufacturing sites, repair shops and every other workplace?
